KING DAVID is a combination of the very productive King David Large White line from Hilman Schroeder and the Max line from Pierce and Urban. He is a stout-fronted, wide made boar with his blade really pulled apart. KING DAVID is average in height, yet is an extremely long-bodied boar that is very level-topped. He has a long, wide, thick rump with good muscle expression to his loin and ham. He is a heavy-boned boar that has good foot size and very sound front and rear. KING DAVID was a fast growing boar reaching 375 pounds at 213 days with only 1.17 actual backfat and a 7.2 loin eye at 375 pounds. He is from a litter of 9 farrowed and 9 weaned with 140 lb 21 day weight and has an excellent underline. KING DAVID should add the noted heaviness of structure and durability of the Max line while maintaining the sow productivity of the King Davids.
