• MAGNUM was the winner of the youngest class at the Autumn Classic in Duncan and second top selling boar.  He was the favorite of many because of his combination of ruggedness, leanness and muscle expression.  A paternal half sister was the popular Champion and top selling gilt. 
• MAGNUM  had the top index (118.0) of his contemporary group of 31 boars with the lowest backfat (0.44 with a 134 ration), second highest percent muscle (61.62 vs 61.73) and the fewest days to 230 (107.8 ration). 
• MAGNUM is a stout fronted boar with a masculine yet long head, bold shoulder and good width of chest floor.  A heavy structured boar, he excels in foot size, bone and general toughness.  MAGNUM is very bare of fat over his blades and down his expressive top.  He has a big, thick rump and an extremely thick, bulging, deep ham. 
• MAGNUM’s sire, Fresno, is by Austin Acquisition, who goes back to the Crank Highs that are known for their leanness and extra muscle.  Austin Acquisition and Fresno have both consistently reduced fat and added muscle.  Fresno has the Top Terminal Sire Index (120) in the Rutter Herd with EPD for days of  -1.2 and  EPD for backfat of  –0.06. 
• MANGUM’s paternal grandsire, Hi Way 36, is known for his consistency in producing sound, functional growthy Yorkshires that are tough-made and have excellent longevity. 
• MAGNUM’s dam has averaged 13.0 born live, 9.0 weaned and 129 lb 21-day litter weight in seven parities. 
• 44 MAGNUM, like his handgun namesake, packs a powerful genetic punch.  We are confident he can really work for producing show pigs or reducing fat and adding muscle in Yorkshire or maternal line females.
