• Structure was the $7500 top selling Duroc boar at the 1998 National Barrow Show. 
• Although he may not be quite “trendy” enough for some of the show pig enthusiasts, his tremendous growth rate (138 days, -3.7 EPD days), heaviness of structure and overall tough durable design are the traits that have made Durocs popular with commercial producers worldwide.  With 1.82 weight per day of age, 0.77 BF at 380 lb and 8.19 LEA when exhibited at Austin, he is also certainly a meat hog. 
• A big-framed, long-bodied boar; Structure has a big scapula, stout yet clean bone and good foot size.  He is a very sound structured boar that moves out with true and authoritative action both front and rear.  A double-bred Nathan and double-bred Imprint, he combines the excellent toughness and heaviness of structure of the Imprint line with the leanness and muscling of the Nathan line. 
• Superior growth was consistent in the litter with a littermate boar at 140 days making the littermate pair the two fastest growing boars in the contemporary group that average 162 days.  Two littermate gilts were also the fastest growing in their contemporary group. 
• If you still believe that Durocs need to excel in growth rate and ruggedness along with extra frame and leanness to keep hogs efficient and profitable to raise as well as have high cutability at today’s market weight of 250 to 280 lb, Structure can certainly move your genetics in the right direction.
