• CADERO was the Reserve Champion and $10,000 top selling Duroc Boar at the 1992 National Barrow Show.  At Austin you could find several extremely lean, muscular boars and several fast growing, rugged boars but none that combined all these traits into one powerful package like CADERO. 
• CADERO is a bold shouldered, heavy structured boar with big feet and an abundance of bone.  He has excellent leanness and muscle shape over the top and a very muscular ham with particularly good bulge to the center and stifle regions.  He is a sound, free moving boar with a very good underline. 
• On the top side CADERO is by Tarzan, the California State Fair Supreme Champion over all breeds.  Tarzan was sired by Monkey 2-3 and out of a Tool Box sow.  The Monkeys have consistently been heavy structured with superior muscle shape and volume.  Tool Box was the 1990 National Premier sire who produced numerous champions; but more importantly, he consistently sired extra lean, heavy structured Durocs that bred on. 
• CADERO's dam was the top selling gilt at the 1989 World Pork Expo.  She is by a son of Limo and out of a Tool Box line dam.  Limo was the most prepotent and consistent sire to serve at Wellers in recent years,  particularly in terms of reducing fat and making superior females.  Limo in turn, is by SGI 167 Prince Albert times a SGI 158 Big Anvil Sow.  Prince Albert was an extremely big framed, extra lean boar that was ahead of his time in the mid 80's.  Big Anvil was one of the very best ever to serve at SGI and did a remarkable job of producing outstanding, very productive females. 
• CADERO's dam has averaged 8.0 weaned for five parities and consistently produced some of the top pigs at Dallaire's in terms of combining rapid growth, leanness and muscle into a sound functional package. 
• With CADERO's superior combination of production and carcass characteristic backed by several generations of "true generators" of big, rugged, fast growing, yet lean, muscular Durocs;
