• Gunslinger combines the noted muscle and leanness of the Gunland line with the traditional superior maternal function and longevity of the King David line. 
• His sire, Gunslinger 417-2, not only excels in terminal traits, but also ranks 5^th in SPI, 12^th in EPDs for born live and 16^th in Maternal Line Index in the latest Yorkshire Across-Herd Sire Summary.  He has two sons that ranked in the top ten in the Yorkshire Breed for Backfat EPDs.  Gunslinger 417-2 was the Champion Boar at the 1991 World Pork Expo.  He has sired the 1^st place boar and gilt at the 1993 World Pork Expo, reserve gilt at the 1993 Summer type Conference, a top indexing test station pen and the Champion Crossbred Truckload at the 1993 National Barrow Show. 
• Gunslinger 191-2’s dam, Queenie 26-10, has a 108.84 SPI and has averaged 2.42 litters per year, 138 day farrowing interval, 10.56 born live, 9.0 weaned and 119 lb. 21-day litter weight for 9 parities.  His maternal granddam also excelled in maternal efficiency with a 107.32 SPI, 11.5 born live, 9.3 weaned and a 141 day farrowing interval for 5 parities. 
• Gunslinger is a wide sprung, heavy structured and durable boar.  He has an ideal frame size and excellent muscle definition.  He can move you in the direction of higher cutability or percent lean yet maintain general toughness and durability. 
• Longevity and the ability to rebreed regularly contribute greatly to profitability in a commercial operation.  Gunslinger can generate females that produce efficiency for 6 to 10 parities.
